In 1997, I would talk to my grandfather about man-hood God and education. What I didn’t know at that time was he was preparing me for what was coming in my life. Later that year, I met two men who would change my destructive lifestyle overnight. Bo Taylor of Unity One and Senator Tom Hayden of California. Together these men saved me from a 5-year prison sentence. In return, I began a path of Community Organizing and gang prevention for the next 25 years at Jesse Owens Park, a playground for gangs, and peer pressure for At Risk Youth. In 2015, I created the Rizilient Educational Program and in 2018 I created the H.E.A.R.T. Program (help educate at risk teens). Both programs are a conflict & resolution resource center for teens. Both programs would help bring the community together for the Humanitarian Day Awards & Toy Drive Giveaway, a day of peace, music, love, food ,toys ,clothing, medical supplies and awards for community activism. For nearly ten years, I fulfilled my promise to these three men who have passed on in life, but their legacies have lived on through the work I've done in gang prevention. On June 18th 2021, I was shot six times for unknown reasons by a member of my own gang and the community would like to know who shot LA Nutt and why.
